Drogba & Eboue escape punishment for Mandela tribute

 

The duo wore t-shirts thanking the former South African President but will not be sanctioned for displaying political messages incase you miss  the story read here

Galatasaray duo Didier Drogba and Emmanuel Eboue will not face any further action for their tribute to Nelson Mandela in the wake of their win over Elazigspor.

"The supposed breach of the rules has not actually happened, so there is no need for any action," a statement from the governing body's disciplinary panel read.

Galatasaray were quick to show their support for both players by showing a picture of the late President of South Africa on the outside of the stadium.
