A member of the Eiye Confraternity and Jehovah’s Witness, Adeola Omotayo, 28, has killed his sister, Omotayo Rukayat Adedapo, 30, after a minor disagreement over a plot of land.

The incident happened at Rukayat’s residence, 22, Pasoku Street, Aga area of Ikorodu, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

Pakistani national, Malala Yousafzai, has called on the federal government to do all it can to rescue the abducted school girls.

16-year-old Malala made the call while speaking with the Hausa Service of the BBC saying that the government should know that it is its responsibility to rescue the abducted school girls who were captured on April 14 by members of Boko Haram sect.

She said, “I was depressed to hear the news that female schoolgirls were abducted; the world should put all hands on deck to rescue the innocent girls from the Boko Haram sect.
“Female education is compulsory and their responsibility is on all tiers of government. Islam accepts female education and any person that is against that is not a true Muslim,” she said.

BokoHaram Migrates Abducted School Girls To Chad, Cameroon; Marries Them Off On N2,000 Bride Price Each

Most of the 234 Borno schoolgirls in Boko Haram captivity have been ferried abroad to Chad and Cameroon after they were married off to sect members on N2,000 bride price each, an elder told Daily Trust yesterday.

The female students were taken from their hostels at the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok on the night of April 14.
About 40 had escaped in the days after the incident, but parents and school authorities said at least 234 of them were yet to be found.

Child killer/rapist tortured and raped in prison in Brazil by 20 men

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor named Daryell Dickson Meneses Xavier was reportedly beaten and raped by 20 men after he was locked up for allegedly killing and possibly raping his girlfriend's 1year 11 months old son (pictured with him left) in Taguatinga, suburb of Brasilia, Brazil in Sept 2013.
According to local media, trouble started for the man after his girlfriend left him alone with her son. A few hours later, he called his girlfriend claiming the boy fell and was having seizures. The child was rushed to the hospital and died two days later. Doctors who didn't believe the boy fell called the police and told them they suspected foul play because the injuries on the boy wasn't consistent with a fall but with blunt trauma, and also said possible sexual abuse was involved.
