Jonathan meets loyal governors in Aso Rock

 

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday evening met with some state governors in what was said to be an informal session at the Presidential Villa.
The governors included chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDPGF), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom); Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo) and Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta).
The governors came at about 5.00 p.m. and met with the President in his office until about 7.20 p. m.
When pressed for comments, none of them was willing to volunteer an insight into the meeting except Governor Mimiko who insisted that it was an informal meeting.
