Since Pastor Chris Okotie condemned Catholics, and even called the Pope an anti-christ, a lot of people have tongue lashed him and said he is not in the position to judge anyone or their congregation. Surprisingly, after the Pastor condemned Catholics during a sermon in his church, he also made an announcement that a beauty pageant will be held this Sunday in his church to pick the most beautiful woman. That also didn’t go down well with a lot of Christians, lol.

Well the church has taken to its official Facebook page to explain the concept behind the beauty pageant tagged Queen Esther pageant competition. According to them, it is geared towards selecting an ambassador for the church.

“The evening usually features the parade and display of beautiful women in costumes inspired by popular female bible characters. The contestant with the most creative costume is then crowned as the Queen Esther and gets a cash prize of one million naira,” the post read.
