She's made millions throughout her career as a supermodel.
But Claudia Schiffer didn't go as far as she could have done to cash in on her fame in the 90s.
Claudia Schiffer says she was once offered £1m to spend an evening with an Arab prince.
The 43-year-old supermodel has revealed that she once refused a £1million offer by an Arab prince to spend an evening with him. Appearing on the Jonathan Ross show, airing tomorrow night, she said: "The strangest one was an Arab prince.
"He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it."
Claudia revealed she didn't want to get involved in the indecent proposal, instead insisting she made her fortune through hard work alone.
Claudia Schiffer says she turned down the offer to make her career the right way.
She added: "It’s not all about money. I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do." And while she might now finally be comfortable with her career, Claudia reckons she wasn't always as confident as she came across.
She added: "I am just shy when there are lots of people. I’m OK when we’re just one on one, or maybe four people, or six. More than that is not really comfortable for me, it doesn’t feel good.
"I’m a really, really shy person. It does help when I’m in make-up or getting dressed up. That’s why modelling kind of works.
"I would always turn bright red, so then I became even more shy, thinking, 'I don’t want to be here'. Once I put the make-up on I’d go, 'OK, I can cope, no one can see that I'm going red now'."
The mum-of-three says she particularly struggled at school, admitting she didn't have any friends.
She revealed: "I was the loser at school. Everyone called me ‘Duck’ because my bum stuck out, and I walked kind of funny because my legs are a bit funny, and I was really tall.
"Everyone was sort of the same height except me and I didn’t have any friends."
"I just think it’s a part of life. If anyone is worried about it and has a problem with it then, they have a problem. It couldn’t be more natural and more normal and, no, I don’t have a problem with it.”
And despite being mid-way through her forties, Claudia - who is still happily married to her film director husband Matthew Vaughn - says she has no worries about ageing.
She added: "I just think it’s a part of life. If anyone is worried about it and has a problem with it then, they have a problem. It couldn’t be more natural and more normal and, no, I don’t have a problem with it."
