Messi set to become world's highest paid player ahead of Ronaldo , to be paid 84 million naira per week

 Four-time Ballon d'Or winner, Lionel Messi  is poised to earn more than £335,000( 83.8 million naira ) per week with  Barcelona willing to make him the world’s highest-paid playerClub president Josep Maria Bartomeu just two days after the Argentina star's hat-trick defeated Real Madrid made the pledge and ensuring it will happen soon . In his words , he said:

"We all want Messi to be the best-paid player in the world and that is what we are working on .Right now we are concentrating on the competitions we are in but it will happen soon.Nobody here wants to sell Messi. You cannot sell Leo. He arrived here when he was 13 and he is one of ours."
